Bring on The Fall Boots!

I'm so excited for Fall! Long sleeves, pumpkin spice everything and BOOTS!! I think I have about 30 pair of boots in my closet right now! But first I want to talk about this cute long sleeve camo top from www.shopthebyb.com! I've shared the link below bc this top is so soft and comfy and GUESS WHAT... it's ON SALE NOW! You will definitely love it for those chilly Fall days! But back to the other thing I want to share with you, my other fall fave...boots!

https://www.shopthebyb.com/products/397-can-you-see-me-camo-top

Here's a look at a few of my faves! Owned, on order and wish listed, all from Payless:

Women's Ronnie Raw-Edge Boot, Cognac Suede, hi-res

Own them and love them! Currently wearing these as I am writing this. I bought them a while back and guess what...they are still in stock! I see these with jeans (which I am currently wearing also), dresses (both long and short), leggings, they are a definite "staple piece."

Women's DeeJay Lace-Up Boot, Oxblood, hi-res

SO in love with anything "Oxblood." These made the "on order as soon as I finish this Blog list!" I also should add, as you might know, I have a mild obsession with combat boots. They are my favorite thing to bring on a trip because they go with everything but a bathing suit, lol.

Women's Russell Peep-Toe Bootie, Olive, hi-res

I know I probably wouldn't wear these that often but they are still on my "wish list"

Women's Maggie Riding Boot, Cognac, hi-res

I have a pair of boots very similar to these and honestly, I wear them with every color, even black! My apologies to those of you who can't stand black and brown together. It's really not that bad! You should give it a shot! (says the person who can't wear gold and silver jewelry together...I'm REALLY trying, I swear)!

Women's Watson Over-the-Knee Stretch Boot, Grey Suede, hi-res

WHAT?!! Did I just find the grey boots I have been searching for for 2 years?!

Women's Tsunami Rain Boot, Black, hi-res

Last but definitely not least...RAIN BOOTS! If you don't own a pair, follow the link below and buy these! If you're thinking "why buy a pair of boots I can only wear when it's raining?" You don't know what you're missing! Not only are they fantastic in the rain but when it's muddy or that wet, slushie snow. I think I own about 3 pair of rain boots (one for home, one for the office if there is an unexpected rain storm and one for Bengals Football games).

My Little Bathroom Nook

My little bathroom nook is finally complete! We been in the cottage for 5 months now and when we moved in it was the beginning of the shut downs so it was like just get moved in and deal with getting settled later! When we moved in it was a plane storage closet with the electrical box. I can't even remember if we had shelves or not. We purchased a little plastic 3 drawer storage box on wheels from Meijer and that was about it. We put an accordion door on it so we could close it (out of sight when we had guests). But honestly mid party I would realize we had forgotten to close it and our junk was still in sight! So here we are several months later, about to start on the main house but at least I finally finished this to enjoy the last few months or so while we are still living in the cottage! Pink Washcloths from Target because our old ones met  their fate from a pen in the washing machine. DIY TIP: If you have a bottle that you...

My Little Gray Cape (Trench Coat)

I am LOVING this cape for Fall! When I bought it I thought, 'ok this is going to be cute for the beginning of Fall when it's not super cold, then I'll have to layer sweaters under it and still wear a coat.' But just wearing it for the short time we did this shoot I was sweating! It's perfect for Fall nights, long car rides, plane rides, anything where it gets chilly but you want to be able to throw it off to use your arms. I can't wait to wrap up in it all Fall/Winter long and be nice and cozy! It also comes in Black so I may have to own 2 bc I have a feeling this will be a staple piece in my wardrobe! (Perfect too for formal occasions, verses a coat; yep definitely need it in black!)                                                                                  ...

Mad Hatter Tea Party

Friday night I was invited to an event hosted by Pyramid Hill/Sculpture Park. Australian Artist Amanda Parer displayed 3 of her 5 rabbit sculptures of art entitled "Intrude" at the park; the other 2 were in downtown Cincinnati for the "Blink" light show this past weekend.                                                                                                                The tea party began quite ironically, we were running late due to traffic, so the term "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date" was thrown around as we hurried to get there. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the Mad Hatter (aka DJ Christopher Gaines from Jam Entertainment LLC) playing an mad mix of tun...
