Lips you'll Fall in love with

I LOVE lip colors even though I don't often wear them, outside of the weekend. My current favorite are Matte lip colors because they seem to stay longer even after hot coffee, meals etc. Also, they won't come off on your significant other or if you have long hair, you know how annoying windy days and sticky lips can be.

If you haven't tried lip pencils, get ready to discover what you've been missing out on! I never used a pencil on my lips until last year, it's just one more thing to carry and get smudged, I thought. But the reason for the pencil is not only to make the lip color pop, but it gives you a better line in which to fill the color and it works as a "base coat" to help the lip color last longer.

I love Urban Decay Eye Liner (in Zero) It's the only liner that doesn't run down your face by the end of the day. It goes on smooth like a liquid but without the mess of a liquid. I have not tried this exact lip combo but how awesome is it that they are sold together?! This is on my shopping list for the next time I visit Ulta! No more standing in the aisle for 20 minutes trying to find the liner that matches your lipstick, only to find out it's the one that is sold out.

I received a sample pack of NARS lip colors last year and if you are just starting out with a lip pencil, you aren't sold on carrying multiple lip products in your handbag for the evening and you just want to test the waters, this is for you! I call this my "lazy liner;" For times I want to do my lips but I don't have the room in my handbag for multiple lip products.

Naperville

Over the weekend we were in Chicago and Saturday night we decided to visit Naperville. We stayed at Hotel Indigo which is right on the water and near to all the bars and restaurants. It had some really unique decor in the room and around the hotel. They have brunch on Sunday but we didn't have a chance to go. Parking is easy, and for the most, part free around Naperville. It's really a neat little area of the town; which I am told is home to over 147,000 residents, has 3 high schools, and is in 2 different counties! Las Vegas Girls Trip!

TRIP TIPS HELLO VEGAS!!! I had an amazing weekend with my ladies in " Sin City "! I've been there about 15 times over the last 6 years and none of my trips have ever been the same (or even similar.) I have never stayed in the same hotel twice and there is always something new to I learn on every trip. We used to have a good friend who lived in Southern California and would drive in to visit whenever we were in Vegas. We would go hiking during the day and hit the clubs at night; so over the years, I have hiked a lot of places in Nevada.
